Peter Strickland is an Executive Consultant with The CLEMMER
Group, a firm specializing in consulting, education, training,
executive development and improvement tools for personal, team
and organization transformation. Peter provides a broad range of
consulting services to equip organizations with resources,
skills, knowledge and awareness to help navigate change.
Partnering with Jim Clemmer, his expertise lies in the areas of:
selection and hiring; leadership skill training implementation,
facilitation and evaluation; research/assessment; performance
appraisal/leadership; process management/improvement; and
customization of training.
Previously, Peter was the Vice-President of Service/Quality
and Client Services with head office operational responsibility
at The Achieve Group Inc. in Canada. He also directed the
Strategic Consulting and Customization functions in Canada for
Zenger Miller. During this 11-year period, Peter co-developed
Achieve's Service/Quality System™ described in the bestseller
Firing on
All Cylinders: The Service/Quality System for High-Powered
Corporate Performance, designed, implemented and
sustained the Canadian organization's Quality Improvement
Initiative, coached regional Vice-Presidents across Canada
throughout its implementation, championed the organization's
Audit, Assessment, Evaluation and Instructor Certification
business, and, provided similar consulting support to over 200
clients. Peter is listed in The International Who's Who of
Entreprenuers.
Formerly, Peter was the Director of Educational Services for
a regional hospital in western Canada and the corporate Training
Manager for a major North American clothing manufacturer. He
became a Chartered Psychologist in 1983 while in Alberta and he
maintains active memberships in The Canadian Society for
Industrial and Organizational Psychology, The Canadian
Psychological Association, and The Psychologists Association of
Alberta.
Peter has a Master of Arts degree in Applied Social
Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan and an Honors
Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Trent University.
